I’m back from Disneyland!! It was such an amazing weekend and I cannot wait to tell you all about it! Gonna kick off the weekend with a giveaway!
Here in Georgia it gets hot during the summer. I typically wear caps to do my runs, but hats trap heat, and that’s the last thing I need happening during the hot and humid training runs!
I have many different brands of headbands (they all work and are all cute). One of these is Sweaty Bands.
I first learned of Sweaty Bands at the Disney Princess half marathon. I briefly looked at them but since I wasn’t wearing one during the race I didn’t pay too much attention. Fast forward a few months and I placed my first order for two Sweaty Bands.
Never heard of Sweaty Bands? Here’s what they are, courtesy of their website -
Sweaty Bands are the number one fitness headbands in the world and the hottest accessory on the planet! The simple design gives you a no-slip solution to top off any look. We offer more than a thousand colors, patterns and print combinations that empower women and girls to express their unique style. Sweaty Bands grip and hold your hair during the most strenuous of workouts, all without slipping, tugging or pulling. From yoga classes or marathons to hanging out with friends or happy hour, Sweaty Bands are a must for your workouts or everyday wear.
I’ve had some headbands that tend to slip back on my head while running, but these have stayed put. I prefer to wear mine closer to my hairline. This was after a 7 mile run, and it didn’t budge!
The awesome people at Sweaty Bands have offered up a headband for one of my readers to win!
This is a super cute design and could go with a variety of different colors for your workouts!

ReplyDeleteI totally agree! Sweaty bands are the best in the biz. I've been wearing them since the Disney Princess Half Marathon in 2012. Before sweaty bands I had pretty much given up on using headbands while running because they always fall off!
ReplyDeleteWhat's your favorite headband to wear during trainings and races?

I have never run with a headband until recently. I was always skeptical that they would work with my thick hair and fat head. I've seen so many runners talk about Sweaty Bands that I decided to buy one recently. I am now hooked. I love them!
