Awhile back, I won a giveaway on Karen’s blog, …Just Me and My Running Shoes… for a really cool product called Race-Kred.
Race-Kreds are these cool little “shoe swag” that you thread onto your laces to show off your accomplishments! They’re very lightweight – only around 5.5 grams (about the same as 2 dimes), and they come in a variety of different distances…from a 5k all the way up to a 100 miler and a full Ironman!
Display all your distances on one shoe!

ReplyDeleteAs if right now 13.1 is my most proud accomplishment but in November I hope to change that to a full:) I would pick 13.1
ReplyDeleteLove these! I want to get one for every race, all the way up to my 13.1 (when I do it in February!)

ReplyDeleteI would love to have the 13.1 :). How cute are these?! Love!
ReplyDelete13.1, of course! Always looking for a way to let that show!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!! 13.1 of slow is still 13.1 and looking down at that when the run is hard could get me in gear!
ReplyDeleteI would get a 26.2 one! Yes please! :)
ReplyDeleteI am most proud of finishing WDWMarathon this year! I would love a 26.2 RaceKred, it looks a bit silly to wear my amazing Mickey medal everywhere.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely 26.2!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say I am proud of all the distances I have run but the marathon has probably taken the lead for most proud. It's not because it's the furthest I have races (it is the furthest but that't not the reason I am most proud), I think the reason is because of how it has changed me and bettered me. I have become a stronger runner and a stronger person in the 2 years and 5 marathons that I have done. Each one taught me something and I'm sure it will always be that way. The marathon reminds you that you are human, it won't always feel good but when it does, nothing beats it.
ReplyDeleteI always go back to the 10 miler. Since it was my first long distance race, it's the moment I realized I really could do whatever I put my mind to. While I'm proud of my 1/2's I know that first long distance race is what pushed me to continue. Bring on 26.2!
ReplyDeleteITs a hard choice to say which distance....I am SUPER proud i did a marathon...but i might be prouder that i have done a few halfs. in 2011 I could barely run 5km. it took me 41 minutes. But I decided to train for a 12km race. And in doing so I dropped 15 pounds. And gained a ton of confidence. So I thought...i bet i could TRY a half (maybe not fast but i could get it done i bet)....so i joined a class. And I lost another 20 pounds. And ran a half. Then another. Then I did several more, then a marathon. Last weekned I did my 17th half marathon since 2011. And while I was disappointed it wasnt a PB, I have now come to the place where I am thinking about how FREAKING GOOD IT FEELS TO JSUT GET OUT THERE AND RUN. Now i can run the whole thing without walking. And I am now working on a program to increase pace...so i can hit that ellusive 2:15 mark...whooohoooo!
ReplyDeleteThese are really neat!
ReplyDeleteHoping to complete a 50k this weekend. Would live to show that off!!
ReplyDeleteProud of my 10k furthest distance so far. Can't wait for my first half.
ReplyDeleteI would get the 10k.
This would be for my wife, she ran her first (and she says only) marathon about a month ago. I am very proud of her, she came in 14 seconds below her goal finish time, plenty to spare! She would love the 26.2 Race-Kred.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I would get the 5K as that will be my first race. But eventaully I plan to work up to the 26.2. So perhaps each time I finish a race, I'll keep this in mine.
ReplyDelete26.2
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your knee isn't too bad -- running injuries are such a bummer. If I win the Race-Kred, I would get a 13.1 for the half marathon I did in December. Thanks!
