Back in the Saddle

Tuesday I was FINALLY able to run again!!

As soon as I got home, I ran upstairs, changed, told the hubs I would be back soon, and set out on a 30 minute run around the neighborhood.


The weather was great, and it felt amazing to get back out and run!  But...it is crazy at how you can lose stamina, even after a week.  I was definitely slower in my run than I normally am, but not running for a week will do that to ya.  I'm not worried, though.  I'll be back...better than ever :)

I'm already anxious to do my next run tonight!

  1. It seems to always take a few days to get back into the rhythm of things. Great job getting back out there!

  2. I always go a bit slower when I am back after some time off from running. No pressure is the best way to approach those first few runs. Enjoy the fall weather! SPA love :)
